Conclusion
In conclusion, I learned many things from researching this topic. I learned that in the 16th century, social classes were much more defined than today's, and the chance of people improving their rank within their lifetime were astronomically slim. The housing positions were also the opposite of today's, with the rich in the downtowns, and the poor in the outer rings. If I was to research this topic again, I would spend much more time on income and housing because there are many more interesting aspects of 16th century social status when you think about the cost of living, and yearly income per household. Overall I believe that the Elizabethan Era was a time of newfound culture as well as education, in a previously disorderly England, but was at the same time a period of strife for many, simply depending on which end of the social spectrum they were located.
